Is there a free tier?
You can start with a one-credit free preview and no credit card. Sign in to use the Playground or API, inspect the available models, and add prepaid credit or a monthly plan when you are ready.
How is API usage billed?
Usage follows the published model catalog rates for input, cached input, and output tokens. Cached input is charged at 10% of the selected model's standard input rate, and web search is billed separately at $8 per 1,000 searches plus token usage.
Do prepaid credits expire?
No. Prepaid credits do not expire and stack on top of any monthly plan. You can buy a listed top-up or choose a custom amount in the console.
What do the monthly plans include?
Developer includes a 2.5% usage discount, API keys with project limits, auto-reload, and OpenAI-compatible endpoints. Growth increases the discount to 5% and adds higher limits, spend controls, organization audit logs, team management, and email support. Scale increases the discount to 10%, adds the highest limits and priority support, and includes $200 in monthly credit.
